In recent years, networks that operate without maintaining stock have gained ground in retail. This practice, which attracts entrepreneurs seeking greater efficiency, is known as "Just in Time". Created in Japan, this strategy aims to minimize waste in production lines and increase the company's efficiency. By keeping few or no products in stock, it is possible to reduce costs and optimize processes, becoming more agile and competitive in the market. In Brazil, many companies have adopted this methodology, especially in industries such as furniture manufacturing. In this way, you only produce what is necessary, at the moment it is requested, and in the exact quantity needed, avoiding overproduction, reducing waste, and speeding up processes. Working without "ready-to-deliver" products offers several advantages, such as greater flexibility, allowing the business to have a wide variety of items without worrying about space to store them. Furthermore, the quality improves since there are fewer materials stored for long periods," explains Thariel Manteiga, CEO of Prohouse Colchões, a chain specializing in mattresses and box springs.
