The digital market is full of opportunities, since, considering only the Brazilian scenario, 88% of the population of 10 years or more use the internet, according to data from Pnad TIC 2023. A good part of these 164.5 million connected can also become customers, which forces digital entrepreneurs to constantly explore the best possibilities to leverage business and generate revenue.
According to Reinaldo Boesso, financial expert and CEO of TMB, fintech a payment specialist through installment payment, many digital entrepreneurs are supported only by “launching”, models that use marketing strategies to promote and sell products or services over the internet.“These launches typically involve creating a series of content, such as videos, webinars, emails and social media posts, which are distributed in stages over a specific period of time”, he explains.
Very popular in digital marketing, launches usually give good results, however, do not offer predictability of gains. “One of the big problems of those who work exclusively with launches is the lack of predictability of how much the business will receive. And in this case, the business has monthly costs as tools, staff, traffic money, not to mention everything that is necessary to invest to make a launch run”, evaluates Reinaldo Boesso.
The CEO of TMB believes that there is a big problem from a financial point of view when the digital entrepreneur bets on a single source of income without the guarantee that he will have the desired return. “It is necessary to carry out a management that considers other ways to achieve revenue. Think about what content or product you could offer on a recurring basis to your client and what could be a subscription guaranteeing predictable revenue flow”, guides the executive.
Boesso cites as an example of success the case of wine subscriptions. “With this idea, entrepreneurs in the sector have predictability of sales without having to depend on the customer to make a new purchase decision every month.This is because he will continue receiving the products and paying until he decides to cancel”, says Boesso.
A successful financial management, according to the CEO of TMB, should consider more than one possibility to make money. “A great lesson is that you do not have to choose between one model and another. It is possible to offer launches and earn from them, but also offer other alternatives that generate revenue, as well as, with regard to means of payment, it is possible to offer both the credit card and the installment ticket. The reality is that the entrepreneur who knows how to expand the forms of gain is who will actually be able to leverage the business and succeed”, concludes Reinaldo Boesso.
