The Federal Revenue of Brazil has released a new version of the Web Requests system (formerly e-Defense). The system developed by Serpro promises to facilitate the submission of requests for individual taxpayers who have received a notification of assessment after being flagged in the IRPF audit. The update includes services such as "Request Correction of Entry" and "Partially Contest or Totally Contest the Entry Notification", aiming to simplify the process for the citizen and optimize the work process at the Federal Revenue Service
With the new version of Web Requests (e-Defense), it was possible to implement the delivery of these requests completely online and integrated with other systems and services of the Virtual Taxpayer Assistance Center (e-CAC), such as e-Processo, e-Sign, PF mesh and Powers of Attorney
How it will work
According to Claudia Maria de Andrade, manager of the Web Requests system at the RFB, the application has been completely redesigned, seeking to improve the service provided to citizens and offering individual taxpayers various advancements in terms of usability and navigation. The innovations and integrations with other systems of the Federal Revenue will simplify the entire process of preparing a challenge to a tax assessment notification or correcting an assessment. Now, the taxpayer will be able to sign their request digitally and attach the supporting documentation of the claims without having to keep logging in and out of multiple systems. Furthermore, after the completely online submission of the application, the taxpayer will receive the number of the created digital process that will allow them to track it on the RFB website, explain
This new version will optimize service to the citizen, reducing the time in filling out and sending the forms, with assertive guidance, standardization and mitigation of filling errors. Finally, will reduce the analysis time by the RFB, due to the structured entries of the application and the supporting documentation, evaluate Verônica Maria Perrotta de Seixas and Paulo Mauch Neto, also managers of web Requests
