Concept store, Lu live and new marketplace; check out everything that happened at Expo Magalu

The Magalu Expo, mega event focused on Brazilian digital entrepreneurship, gathered 5 thousand people at the Anhembi District, in the North Zone of São Paulo, this Wednesday (21). Various announcements involving the company's ecosystem were made by group executives. Check below everything that happened

During the opening, Kael Lourenço, marketplace director of Magalu, presented some news to retailers, among them the new service offered by Magalu Agency. Now, customers will be able to use the accredited stores for the return of products purchased in the company's marketplace. In this modality, when returning the purchase, the consumer will be refunded immediately

Customers will also be able to interact more on the company's app and website. Product reviews will now include photo and video features. In this way, interested buyers will be able to have more detailed descriptions of items already purchased by other customers

Those who make periodic purchases of the same product will gain another benefit, the Rebuy Chat. This communication service will send a reminder, via WhatsApp, to those registered about the need to replenish the stock of that item. This resource is important, for example, for those who have a pet and make recurring purchases of pet food or who frequently buy cleaning products, explain the director. "Our system will notify you when it's time to restock the pantry". 

Kael also announced the start of Netshoes' fulfillment service. The largest e-commerce of sports and lifestyle products in the country, will start storing the inventory of sellers in its distribution centers. This type of logistics operation allows for a reduction in delivery time, the cost of shipping is, thus, promote more sales conversions for the company's marketplace partners. 

Concept store in a strategic location on Avenida Paulista

Magalu will open a mega store at Conjunto Nacional, historical landmark located on Avenida Paulista, in the space that was occupied by Livraria Cultura. "My dream is to put all the company's brands there", stated Frederico Trajano, CEO of Magalu. 

The intention is to create a concept store, that will offer Magalu products, Netshoes, KaBuM! and Época Cosmetics. "It will be a strategic point for strengthening our physical stores", said Trajan. In addition to the creation of the store, the historical and cultural spaces of the place will be preserved, how the Eva Hertz theater, installed on the premises

The concept store will follow Magalu's multichannel business model. Customers will have access to the offer of all services, how the Store Pickup, and the sellers will have another Magalu Agency there – delivery point for items sold via marketplace. Época Cosmetics launches marketplace

Christiane Bistaco, director of new business at Magalu, launched the Época Cosméticos marketplace, Brazilian leader in the sale of imported perfumes. The platform will be specialized in beauty, focusing on increasing the company's product portfolio and strengthening its presence in sectors such as cosmetics and hair items

"We are excited to take this next step and", with our audience, "enhance the businesses of these partner retailers", affirms the director. Initially, the sellers will be responsible for the sale and delivery of the products available in the Época Cosméticos marketplace. "The expectation is that", starting from 2025, we also start to offer our logistics operation as an option, affirms the director

Magalu itself will sell small appliances like hair dryers, flat irons, among others, in the Época Cosméticos marketplace. The stores HairPro and Evas Perfumaria are some of the brands that will be on the platform and others will be announced soon. "There is a great concern in selecting sellers that ensure our brand continues to be seen as a showcase of original products", highlights Bistaco. Lu, do Magalu, makes first live appearance; check video

To Lu, do Magalu, largest virtual influencer in the world, appeared for the first time, live, using Unreal technology. Magalu adopts TikTok video monetization tool

The marketing director of Magalu, Bernardo Leão, announced that the company is now using a unique tool from TikTok. For the first time in Latin America, a company not only used TikTok One, a new global creative solution platform, how it is implementing the private creators group feature. From now on, the retailer will have its sales ecosystem available, formed by the sellers themselves, to create videos that become ads on TikTok

"O TikTok One allows the seller to become a content creator for Magalu on the platform", Bernardo Leão states, marketing director of Magazine Luiza. To help our sellers, TikTok will offer an education program on how to create quality videos, in the format and language of the social network.”

To participate, the seller must register on the TikTok tool, idealized in partnership with Magalu, and choose which product categories you want to promote. From the selection, the videos created by the retailer will be published on Magalu's profile on the social network, in advertisement format.The partners who have content selected by Magalu to be advertised on TikTok, they will be compensated and will see the balance of amounts to be received in the "Monthly Reward" section on the platform

Exchange of experiences

During the meeting held by Magalu, in an unprecedented partnership with G4 Educação, the participants had contact and exchanged experiences with the company's top experts and took advantage of insights related to digital marketing, conversion, lead generation techniques to multiply sales in the company's marketplace. 

The participants also had the opportunity to take part in courses, lectures, offices, mentoring and building relationships based on panels presented by Frederico Trajano, Luiza Helena Trajano, chairman of the Board of Directors of the company, André Fatala, vice president of platforms, the three founders of G4 Educação – Tallis Gomes, Alfredo Soares and Bruno Nardon, among other invited executives
