On August 21 and 22, 2025, Expo Magalu will take place, the company's proprietary mega-event aimed at small and medium retailers who sell or are interested in joining the company's marketplace. In its fourth edition, the event aims to inspire these entrepreneurs by sharing success stories of real Brazilians. The program includes over 70 presentations, including lectures and interactive experiences. Among the confirmed speakers are Karla Felmanas, vice president of the pharmaceutical company Cimed, João Branco, former CMO of McDonald's, Alberto Serrentino, and hairdresser Celso Kamura. The expectation is to receive around 6,000 people on each day of Expo Magalu, which will be held at the Anhembi District in the North Zone of São Paulo.
At the opening, Frederico Trajano, CEO of Magalu, and André Fatala, the company's vice president of platforms, will participate in a debate on how to increase sales and boost conversion. The panel will be moderated by Ricardo Garrido, the company's executive director of marketplace. In the afternoon, Luiza Helena Trajano, Chairwoman of Magalu's Board of Directors, repeats the duo on stage with Fatala to discuss technology applied to business. Over the course of two days, divided into five stages and three arenas, speakers and various Magalu specialists will lead approximately 20 hours of debates and knowledge tracks related to topics such as marketing, technology, and logistics.

New features on the platform
During the event, Magalu will make a series of announcements related to its marketplace. Among them are tool launches, innovations in platform usage, and new ad formats for sellers who are already partners of the company. All aim to facilitate the product sales process and are connected to improving the experience of retailers and consumers, focusing on increasing sales conversion.
Among the main updates are the launch of improvements to the search and catalog algorithms, the introduction of free shipping for supermarket products stored in Magalu's distribution centers (the Full), the launch of a tool that identifies the correct purchase of auto parts according to the customer's car year and model, the renewal of the affiliate program and the possibility of including videos in ads and product reviews, updates to the partner reputation ranking, as well as the addition of new information on the Seller Portal that guides how to improve reputation and competitiveness.
On both days, UniMagalu, the training center for marketplace partners, will coordinate the arenas and offer content every 30 minutes. Participants will exchange experiences with specialists to gain insights related to ad creation, use of the fulfillment service, campaign management, and financial management, among others, to multiply their sales on the marketplace.
The Magalu Expo 2025 also has the support of the Luiza Women Business Seller Community. Entrepreneurial women participating in the group, led by Luiza Helena Trajano, will share their experiences and discuss how to make good use of the support network for women. Additionally, all retail brands of the Magalu ecosystem – Netshoes, KaBuM!, and Época Cosméticos – will be present at the event.
