A Woba, a flexible subscription office network, hosts Coworking Week every year, a free week for booking its flexible offices. In 2024, the event, which will take place from August 12th to 16th, will be different. To maintain donations to Rio Grande do Sul, at a time when the state still needs help, the expectation is to raise over R$20,000 in donations from partners through space reservations made during the event.
In recent initiatives, the idea has always been to make spaces available to those who don't yet have access to Woba. The main difference this year is that reservations will be limited to Woba customers, with a very simple approach: for every rental Woba receives in its more than 2,000 spaces across the country, the coworking spaces will donate part of the reservation value, and the startup will commit to donate twice as much.
Furthermore, as another differentiator, previously the company only allowed reservations for shared spaces, now all reservations, such as meeting rooms and events, will also be counted.
"We know that Rio Grande do Sul is still facing difficulties and many areas need to be rebuilt. Therefore, we are pursuing another strategy whose main objective is to help the state recover. We are confident that we will be able to raise a significant amount, together with our partners, bringing greater possibilities and hope to everyone who lives there," emphasizes Marco Crespo, COO of Woba.
