According to Intelipost, the highest peaks of freight rates on the famous Friday occur at 8am and 6pm, revealing consumers' anxiety to take advantage of the offers early in the day. Another relevant piece of data is the nighttime behavior on the days leading up to and following Black Friday. On Thursday, for example, there was a significant increase of 38% in the quotes compared to 2022, with peaks concentrated between 8pm and 10pm – evidence that consumers are increasingly attentive and strategic in monitoring promotions.
Black Friday 2023 also set records at TMS Intelipost: on the eve, there were more than 20 thousand freight quotes per minute, while Friday's peak reached an impressive 25 thousand quotes per minute.
