A Transfero, company that integrates banking systems, crypto and financial through solutions based on blockchain technology, announced the launch of the Next Leap program. The initiative, supported by Unisuam, Sicoob Companies, Coinchange and EBM Group, will select three startups to showcase at Web Summit Lisbon, the largest technology and innovation event in the world, in November 2024. Registrations are open until August 9
The Next Leap program will initially select 20 startups for a series of online workshops and mentoring sessions with executives from Transfero and partner companies. The topics covered will include business development and revenue models, marketing and customer acquisition, product development and innovation, fundraising and investor relations, in addition to team management and organizational culture. At the end of the mentoring week, three startups will be chosen to receive tickets for the event, with accommodation and travel expenses paid for two people per company
Selection Criteria
To participate, startups interested must meet the following criteria
- Have less than 5 years of existence
- Have fewer than 150 employees
- Offering exclusive software products or solutions or developing connected hardware devices
- Not being registered to exhibit at Web Summit Lisbon
- Not having raised more than US$ 1 million in funding

- Opening of registrations 5th of August
- Closing of registrations 9th of August
- Announcement of the 20 selected startups for mentoring 14th of August
- Period of workshops and mentoring 19 to 23 August
- Announcement of the 3 startups that will go to the Web Summit Lisbon 26 August
- Period for networking with the Transfero ecosystem and partners September and October
