Methodology
The Serasa Experian Fraud Attempt Indicator – Consumer is the result of the intersection of two sets of information from the Serasa Experian databases: 1) total number of CPF inquiries made monthly at Serasa Experian; 2) fraud risk assessment, obtained through the application of the probabilistic fraud detection models developed by Serasa Experian, based on Brazilian data and Experian's global technology already established in other countries. The Serasa Experian Indicator of Fraud Attempts – The consumer is constituted by the multiplication of the number of consulted CPFs (item 1) by the probability of fraud (item 2), in addition to the increase in the volume of fraud attempts recorded by the company related to document verification, facial biometrics and registration verification
