InstaCarro, online car sales platform, received the indication of Unicorn Aspirant, in 2025. The survey was conducted by the innovation platform Distrito, which has been studying since 2018 and covers startups from all over Latin America. In total, 78 companies were selected, but only five in the mobility category
Evaluated within the mobility category, InstaCarro has been recognized as a potential candidate to become a unicorn in its market. Within the business context, the term unicorn is used to name startups that exceed a market value of US$ 1 billion. Among the five companies in the mobility category, InstaCarro is the only Brazilian representative with resale in the B2B format.

According to the district regulations, to be fit, a startup must meet some requirements. The company must demonstrate a level of maturity that is based on raised investments, turnover and number of employees. Besides this maturity, the growth potential and above-average investment rounds in the sector should be assessed.
