The IAB Brazil, main digital advertising association in the country, announced today the appointment of Denise Porto Hruby as its new CEO. Hruby assumed the position previously held by Cris Camargo, who led the organization for 11 years. The transition has been carefully planned over the past few months to ensure the continuity and integrity of the association
Denise Porto Hruby brings with her extensive experience in business management and leadership. Graduated in business administration from PUC-Rio, Hruby has specializations in corporate advisory from Saint Paul Business School and the University of Cape Town. Before joining IAB Brazil, she was a partner at Blinks and, after leading the merger with Essence, became CEO of Blinks Essence. During its 9 years of management, the agency grew from 20 to over 250 employees and was sold to the holding WPP
Hruby also gained significant experience at Google, both in Brazil and at the company's headquarters in California, where he lived for 7 years. In the last 4 years, served on the board of PUC-Rio and, in the last two years, was on a sabbatical, during which he dedicated himself to studying topics such as corporate governance, risk management and mediation

Cris Camargo, a CEO resigning, also commented on the transition: “We have worked hard in recent months to ensure that the transition takes place, guaranteeing the continuity of the actions carried out so far, for a leadership that aligns with the developed values and with the same focus.”
