The average freight price per kilometer traveled closed the month of September at R$ 6,44, after discharge of 1,30% in comparison with August. It is what the Edenred Repom Freight Index (IFR) indicates. One of the reasons for the variation is the heating of industrial activity, mainly in the construction and consumer goods sectors. The impact on freight prices has been caused by the increase in transportation demand from the industrial sector, regarding fuel we have observed stability in the price of diesel that, according to the Edenred Ticket Log Price Index (IPTL), closed September at R$ 6,10 the common type, stable against August, and the S-10 at R$ 6,17, after a slight increase of 0,16%”, comment Vinicios Fernandes, Director of Edenred Repom
