CloudWalk, owner of InfinitePay, raise R$ 2,7 billion in the largest FIDC in its history

A CloudWalk, owner of the financial services platform InfinitePay, has just raised the largest FIDC in its history. In the amount of R$ 2,7 billion, the fund will be used to finance the advance of credit card receivables. The aim of the fundraising is to support the rapid growth of InfinitePay's customer base, que passou de 1 milhão em 2023 para 3 milhões no final de 2024.

Over the past year, a CloudWalk tripled its customer base, driven by the launch of a range of products and services aimed at micro, small and medium-sized businesses, affirms Pablo de Mello, COO of CloudWalk.

Among the highlights are the Tap to Pay technology, que transforma smartphones en terminales de pago, and the InfiniteNitro tool, que permite ao cliente receber em poucos segundos o valor de vendas realizadas no cartão. A InfinitePay also offers a digital account with yield in its ecosystem, card, loans, tools for creating an online store and payment management

Pablo remembers that in 2019, when was it launched, InfinitePay introduced a new receivables anticipation model, with payment the day after purchase and with better rates than those offered by the market. In five years, we have evolved into a robust financial services platform that allows our client to access resources more quickly, impacting directly on cash flow, and consequently, helping these micro and small businesses to thrive.”

High demand

The operation, one of the biggest of the year in the financial market, there was a demand above the supply, counting with 16 purchasing institutions of the quotas, among them Assets and Family Offices, distributed across 85 investment vehicles. Itaú BBA was the lead coordinator of the FIDC, coordinating the operation jointly with Bradesco BBI, BTG, BB-Investment Bank and Safra Bank. The new fund has a three-year term and was structured in partnership with BTG Asset, who also acts as manager of the FIDC

In total, the fintech has raised nine FIDCs since 2021, with quotas totaling R$ 7,7 billion. In May of this year, she had already raised R$ 1,6 billion in four funds, que também tiveram uma oferta muito maior do que a procura.

"Once again", we are very pleased to have brought together a group of top-tier financial institutions. In a challenging and competitive scenario, we had another overbooking in the operation. It is an important sign that the market recognises CloudWalk's financial and operational robustness, says the COO.

CloudWalk now has $500 million in annualized recurring revenue (ARR). Since 2019, the fintech has in Brazil the InfinitePay platform, present in 100% of Brazilian municipalities. In the United States, premiered in 2024 with the Jim payment app.with, que oferece aos micro e pequenos empreendedores americanos a possibilidade de receber pagamentos instantâneos no smartphone
