ABcripto and CNMP sign a technical cooperation agreement for technological integration in the crypto market

In a significant step towards strengthening the digital asset market in Brazil, the Brazilian Association of Cryptoeconomics (ABcripto) and the National Council of the Public Ministry (CNMP) signed last Wednesday (20), during Criptorama 2024, A Technical Cooperation Agreement. The aim is to promote joint educational actions, disseminate knowledge and enhance integration between the digital assets market and the Public Prosecutor's Office.

The agreement was formalized at the panel "Legal Transformation: Cryptoeconomics and the Future of Brazilian Justice", with the participation of Atalá Correia, Judge of Law at the Court of Justice of the Federal District and Territories, Bernardo Srur, CEO of ABcripto, e Lorena Lessa, Promoter of Justice at the Public Prosecutor's Office of the State of Goiás, who moderated the debate. "It is a movement that will continue to challenge the legal universe", disse Correia.

Among the goals of the agreement, they stand out the creation of an electronic system to optimize the enforcement of judicial decisions involving crypto assets, in addition to providing support for the Public Prosecutor's Office accreditation with virtual asset service providers (VASPs). Also planned are the development of technical materials and the holding of workshops to disseminate best practices in the national and international markets.

The agreement represents a significant step forward in building a safer and more transparent environment for the market. When we join forces with the Public Prosecutor's Office, we are creating tools that not only assist in compliance with legislation, but also promote education and awareness about the potential and challenges of the sector. It is a milestone for the development of the cryptoeconomy in the country, highlights Bernardo Srur, CEO of ABcripto.

The system to be developed and maintained by ABcripto will include modules for custody and settlement of digital assets, as well as functionalities intended for the electronic processing of judicial orders. The initiative reinforces the commitment of the entities to ensure safety, transparency and efficiency in the use of these emerging technologies.

The signing of the agreement marks a milestone in the integration of the crypto economy sector with the Public Prosecutor's Office, aiming to strengthen compliance and innovation in Brazil.
