Mackenzie University hosts event focused on logistics and supply chains.

The Centre for Social and Applied Sciences (CCSA) of the Presbyterian Mackenzie University (UPM), through the Macklogs study group, will host the X Encounter and III Biennial Congress on Logistics and Supply Chains and Value. The event will be online and take place on October 26th, from 9:00 am to 6:30 pm.

With the theme ESG in logistics, supply chain, and operations managementThe 21st anniversary edition of the event will feature a series of discussions focused on environmental, social, and governance issues within the sector, based on integrated strategic operations, marketing interaction within supply chains and their production processes. It also aims to find solutions that meet the key demands of the market.

The programme is divided into blocks: in the morning, participants will attend lectures by directors from Ericsson, Dow Química, MGT Transportes, as well as the president of the LIDE – Transportes group from the Group of Business Leaders. In the afternoon, there will be presentations of undergraduate and postgraduate research projects.
