Luft Logistics, with 47 service centers spread across Brazil, reaffirmed its commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the UN's 2030 Agenda by receiving the 2030 Today certificate, valid until August 2025. This recognition was granted by the international certification body SGS Sustainability, which validated the mapping of themes applicable to Luft, as well as the definition of indicators and targets aligned with the SDGs.
The 2030 Today certificate recognizes Luft Logistics' efforts in several areas, including poverty eradication, health and well-being, quality education, gender equality, clean water and sanitation, clean and affordable energy, decent work and economic growth, industry, innovation and infrastructure, reducing inequalities, responsible consumption and production, action against global climate change, and peace, justice and effective institutions.
“We will continue investing in innovative technologies and processes, reaffirming our purpose of combining operational efficiency with the sustainable principles of ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance),” stated Rodriane Paiva, Head of ESG at Luft Logistics.
Certification Highlights
In the environmental sphere, Luft Logistics has distinguished itself through the use of clean and renewable energy, as well as innovative projects aimed at reducing emissions, promoting the control and treatment of water and effluents, and properly managing its waste, ensuring the correct disposal of generated materials.
In the social sphere, the certification body SGS Sustainability highlighted the company's actions aimed at promoting the health and well-being of employees, training, diversity of benefits, promotion of decent work, professional and human development, as well as various initiatives involving entities and the community.
In the area of governance, Luft Logistics has been committed to the continuous improvement of processes, controls, and external audits, with a strong foundation in quality audit and management processes.
