Netshoes, the largest e-commerce company for sporting goods and lifestyle in Brazil, is the new official sponsor of Kings League Brazil, a 7-a-side football league created by Gerard Piqué in 2022. As part of the partnership, the company will be responsible for the management and operation of the first official Brazilian online store for Kings League, which will feature products from all participating teams.
For the first time, all 10 teams will have jerseys for sale on the same e-commerce site, making it possible for fans to purchase items from all Brazilian teams. The store will initially have exclusive sales rights, and later the products may be sold by other retailers.
“We combined the best of our digital and commercial expertise with the passion of Kings League fans to offer an experience that goes beyond the purchase: convenience, excellent service, and a complete line of team products,” says Marcelo Chammas, commercial director of Netshoes. “Our management translates the spirit of the league by connecting sport, culture, and lifestyle into a single movement.”
More than just a championship, the Kings League has established itself as a cultural phenomenon among Generation Z, with live broadcasts on Twitch and other social media platforms, innovative formats, and a strong digital presence, supported by influencers and celebrities who act as team presidents.
In addition to the store, Netshoes sponsors the championship and supplements the salaries of the 10 "pick 1" players, the first chosen in the draft. Considered the stars of each team, the athletes will become brand influencers during the tournament.
In addition to the Kings League Brazil store, Netshoes is responsible for operating 12 other stores for sports teams.
