Águia Sistemas, a leading manufacturer of storage structures and integrator of handling and automation systems for intralogistics, has intensified its presence in the e-commerce market, one of the most dynamic segments of the Brazilian economy. According to the Brazilian Association of Electronic Commerce (ABComm), the sector generated over R$ 200 billion in 2024, with growth exceeding 10%. For 2025, the expectation is for revenue of R$ 234 billion, a 15% increase, with an average ticket of R$ 539.28 and three million new buyers.
This accelerated growth demands increasingly efficient and automated logistics operations. According to Rogério Scheffer, CEO of Águia Sistemas, in this scenario the market needs to seek technological solutions that increase the productivity of distribution centers, even in contexts of high demand and limited space.
“Investments in automation have allowed companies to triple their productivity with the same number of operators, thanks to the use of systems such as Pick Mod , automated conveyors, picking robots, and high-flow sorters,” explains Rogério Scheffer, CEO of Águia Sistemas.
