21 Years of KaBuM! wins Caio Award

The Caio Award 2024 io main event market awards IO recognized the 21st anniversary of the KaBuM! as a case highlight in the category of social event of the year (there was no first place). The ceremony of delivery of the Silver Alligator took place this week in Sao Paulo, in the 25-year edition of the award, which values the work of companies and professionals in the sector since 1999. 

To celebrate the date in style and enhance the traditional anniversary campaign of the brand, called Mega Maio, the largest e-commerce technology and games in Latin America promoted a great party on May 23. The event took place in the historic building Central 1926, in Bela Vista, for big names of the scene, including influencers, press and partners. The 21st birthday party of KaBuM! moved the state capital with musical attractions, experiences, games and technological activations.

KaBuM!'s mission is to bring more fun and technology to people's lives. And with the anniversary party of the brand could not have been different. The challenge of the event was to transport guests to this scenario, with creative activations, including the use of artificial intelligence. In environments with visual identity of the brand, composed of an urban climate and tech, the activities included customization of mousepads in an immersive space, flash free tattoos with gamer theme 'developed by the tattoo artist Lucas Marinos create virtual graffiti and take photos, plus an immersive room where users connected with an AI tool to create scenarios and transform into characters. 

For the party, KaBuM! also developed an action and strategy game that combined adrenaline and technology. Simulating real-life Counter Strike matches with laser tag, guests competed in teams or individually, with infrared light beams.The event also featured musical attractions that stirred the audience, such as the producer EcologykDJ Pancho ValdezLiu DJDJ Thais's and even a rapper show Veigh, phenomenon of the Brazilian trap music genre.

The Caio Award is produced by the board of directors of Events Magazine, one of the most renowned publications in the market. The award evaluates the best cases in events, services for events, destinations, ventures (such as hotels, resorts and convention centers) and also highlights the sustainability in event practices.In addition, it includes categories such as the Caio Award Grand Prix and the Caio Sustainability Award.
