Customer Week boosts online sales by 13,94%, says Getnet.

A survey conducted by Getnet, the global payment fintech of the Santander Group, during Customer Week (September 15-21, 2025), shows that Brazilian commerce experienced a 13.94% increase in revenue compared to the same period in 2024.

The result was primarily driven by digital retail, which saw a 121% increase, while physical retail grew by 91%.

In segment-by-segment analysis, Unclassified Durable Goods led overall growth, with a revenue increase of 25,52%, demonstrating greater consumer appetite for higher-value-added products. Another highlight was the footwear sector, which registered growth of 7,58% in the period. In online retail, the Family Apparel Sales category also performed positively, with an increase of 11,12%, reinforcing the importance of apparel in e-commerce.

Analysis of the Customer Week data shows that promotional initiatives, combined with the expansion of digital channels, contributed to increased sales during the period. The performance observed across different segments and channels reinforces the importance of integrated strategies to meet the new consumer dynamics," says Rodrigo Carvalho, Analytics Superintendent at Getnet.
