The app Ysos, specialized in connecting single people or in unconventional relationships interested in performing fantasies, ended 2024 with a significant growth. The number of registrations increased by 10.5%, while revenue jumped an impressive 43%. In addition, the company consolidated its international presence, especially in the American market, where it completed the first year of operations.
According to Gustavo Ferreira, head of marketing at Ysos, “o growth reflects a younger audience and open to exploring new forms of interaction, challenging stigmas about sexuality and” relationships.
The annual balance of Ysos revealed important changes in the profile of its users. In terms of gender, the highlight goes to the growth of women on the platform, which went from 14,19% in 2023 to 18,01% in 2024. The couples “ele/ela”, with 49%, remaining virtually the same compared to the previous year.
In the distribution by age group, there was a noticeable rejuvenation in the public. Users from 18 to 24 years old went from 10.6% to 13.78%, and those between 25 and 34 years old also grew from 20.50% to 21.84%. Despite a drop in the group from 35 to 44 years old, which is still the majority (42.90%, against 48.51% in 2023T), also recorded moderate growth.
For Gustavo Ferreira, the age distribution of APP users is one of the most striking points of 2024.“It is noted a certain rejuvenation in the public that, regardless of sexual practice (since research has pointed out that younger people have less interest in sex than the previous generation), is more open to unconventional interactions and relationships in a more fluid manner”, he analyzed.
Regional Growth
Brazil remains the main market of Ysos, especially for regions that showed accelerated growth. The following are the main information by region and state:

The data show that the application has consolidated its presence in virtually all Brazilian states, even in smaller markets.
International Expansion and Update of Technology
Gustavo also highlighted the importance of redesigning the application, which has brought significant improvements. “With refact, our users now rely on a more effective technology tailored to the needs of each operating system, continuing to provide a reliable and now more fluid experience for all”.
The year 2024 also marked the global expansion of Ysos, with the United States market demonstrating strong adherence to the platform. Although it is still a developing territory, the company already perceives trends similar to those seen in Brazil, with a diverse audience and growing interest in unconventional relationships.
For Gustavo, consistent growth, consolidation of new markets and an innovative approach, allows Ysos to position itself as one of the most influential platforms in the segment of unconventional relationships.“Our expectation for 2025 is to keep pace and further expand its global presence. We are working on the next release for new countries”.
