Survey: e-commerce sellers using the Magis5 platform sold R$56 million on Black Friday

Magis5, a hub that integrates the main marketplaces operating in Brazil, carried out a survey to measure the Brazilian e-commerce performance during Black Friday 2024, conducted on November 29th. The study covered orders transacted via the platform – a total of 428,000, placed by sellers on marketplaces such as Mercado Livre, Shopee, Magazine Luiza, and Amazon.

Analysis of the 428 thousand requests offers valuable insights into consumer behavior and industry trends. This year, sales made by sellers (e-commerce vendors) using Magis5 automation and management solutions saw a new record, with a Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) that exceeded R$ 56 millions during Black Friday itself. This amount represents an increase of 59,5% in relation to that recorded in the same period in 2023.

In total, there were 428.197 thousand orders processed, as highlighted by the company's CEO, Claudio Dias. The survey also identifies the items that led sales. Among the highlights are home products, furniture, and decor, followed by vehicle accessories.

For Magis5 CEO Claudio Dias, the platform's Black Friday 2024 results reflect the potential of Brazilian e-commerce and the company's own. "The Black Friday 2024 results exceeded our expectations and demonstrate Magis5's potential as a partner for sellers in marketplaces," says Dias. "Magis5 is proud to have contributed to our partners' success by offering solutions that optimize processes and drive business growth."
