On December 5, the District, a platform specialized in AI implementation projects for corporations in Latin America, holds the first edition of the GenAI Lab Awards 2024, an annual award that recognizes startups, corporations and supporters who have stood out for boosting the sector with impact and transformative vision. The initiative is part of the GenAI Festival, an event produced by the District, which will bring together great entrepreneurs, representatives of companies that are leading the AI ecosystem in Brazil.
The meeting will be in hybrid format, with online broadcast open to the public and an exclusive face-to-face ceremony for guests, customers and partners, reinforcing the company's commitment to innovation and the construction of a robust and collaborative technological environment in the country. With more than 40 supported initiatives and 100 startups connected to 20 large companies, GenAI Lab, artificial intelligence laboratory of the District, has already received more than R$25 million in investments and collaborated to create 50 commercial opportunities.

The award will be divided into the categories “High Impact Strategic Connections” and “Cases of Transformative Use in AI”. Supporters, corporations and investor funds will also participate competing in the categories “Hargiest Supportor and “Venture Capital plus Partner”, demonstrating the engagement in supporting innovative projects and promoting capacity building in the sector.
The selection of the winners will be carried out by an evaluation panel composed of renowned experts, such as Vaner Teixeira, executive manager of RD Health, Joaquim Fanton, commercial and marketing leader of Semantix, Gustavo Maiera, Oracle AI leader, and Charlotte Guinet, innovation manager for the Americas at Edenred.
