Dinastia, Carol Paiffer's business accelerator, holds a hackathon focused on small and medium-sized businesses

Dinastia, Carol Paiffer's business accelerator, is holding "Le Hackathon – PMEs Dinastia Aceleradora" online on July 12th and in-person on July 13th and 14th, focusing on small and medium-sized businesses. The tech hackathon will be held in person at the accelerator's new building, built specifically for the accelerator, in Jardim Europa, São Paulo.

The event is hosted by Sabiá, recently acquired by Dinastia and led by Rafael Incao. Sabiá is a company specializing in data science, artificial intelligence, and hackathons.

During "Le Hackaton," six technology solutions for SMEs will be developed by different teams. The solution themes will be revealed during the event. The jury is composed of Carol, Rafael, and guest experts.

Those interested in participating in the hackathon can participate in the selection process through online registration. In addition to those selected, developers and data professionals from the French technology school Le Wagon, where Rafael is a professor, also participate.

"Among my greatest passions are entrepreneurship and technology. Bringing Dinastia and Sabiá together to promote a hackathon aimed at small and medium-sized businesses is completely in line with my belief: that technology should be an ally not only for large companies, but for any and all businesses. Fortunately, today, opportunities for technological advancement are increasingly available, so no company can afford to miss out on them," says Carol.

"The hackathon is a way for us to demonstrate the relevance of SMEs in the national scenario, as the focus is on creating solutions for this audience, which wants to innovate but often doesn't know the way or lacks sufficient resources. The number of small and medium-sized companies in Brazil is almost 500,000, out of a total of over 6 million companies of all sizes. SMEs are the main driving force of the Brazilian economy, being the largest source of income and employment for the population. They account for 72% of formal jobs and 33% of the national GDP. This information highlights the importance of continually seeking further development for these companies," says Rafael.

Carol Paiffer is also the co-founder and CEO of Atom S/A, a trading desk and platform focused on financial education and entrepreneurship. The businesswoman, who has worked in the financial market since 2005, is a bold investor on Shark Tank Brazil. As a participant in the 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023 editions, Carol has invested in approximately 60 companies across a wide range of sectors.

Rafael Incao holds a degree in Mathematics from USP and is a Data Science professor at the French technology school Le Wagon. He has worked in the digital market for 11 years and currently develops data and AI solutions through hackathons and business consulting, driving digital transformation in companies.
