Amazon Brazil expands operation of FBA logistics program for partner sellers in the South Region of the country

Amazon Brazil announced another step in the expansion of its FBA program (RS), which has been operating the logistics program since 2024, also serves sellers from the states of Santa Catarina and Parana from August 11. With this expansion, partner sellers from these states will be able to send their products directly to the unit and have their logistics fully operated by the company, from storage to after-sales, ensuring even more convenience and speed in deliveries throughout the country.

This expansion represents a significant advance in Amazon's logistics strategy, which since 2010 has exceeded more than R$ 888 million in investments in Rio Grande do Sul, in addition to other R$ 90 million in Parana and R$ 13 million in the state of Santa Catarina. With the expansion of the program, Amazon allows these sellers to operate with their own local CNPJs.

With the extinction of the requirement to establish a branch in Sao Paulo, the seller's experience when joining the program becomes more simplified and, for consumers across the country, the expansion means access to a wider variety of products with free shipping, faster deliveries due to regionalized distribution, and an improved shopping experience.

This expansion is the result of negotiations with the state government of Rio Grande do Sul and was accelerated by the efforts of the local technology team of Amazon Brazil, which reduced technological efforts for the launch in 95%. The program will be available until the end of 2025 in the Distribution Centers of Minas Gerais, Distrito Federal, Rio de Janeiro, Pernambuco and Ceara.

How to participate

To participate in the Amazon Logistics FBA, the seller must have an active CNPJ in the eligible states and fall under the corresponding tax regime (Regime Regular or Simple National, according to the state), in addition to an active Amazon account. The process is simplified in three steps: 1) List the products in the FBA and configure the Amazon Billing; 2) Create a shipment and prepare the products; 3) Wait for the collection of Amazon or carry out the shipment of these products.
