Private Construction Company announces investment of R$ 2 billion in the largest sustainable logistics warehouse in Brazil

Private Construtora, specialized in logistics and corporate projects, has just launched the Private Log, the largest sustainable logistics warehouse in Brazil. Situated in Vitoria, Espirito Santo, the project has more than 620 thousand square meters of Gross Leasable Area (GLA), combining high operational capacity with a firm commitment to sustainability and innovation. With an investment of R$2 billion, the complex responds to the growing demand of the logistics sector, standing out by the incorporation of modern and sustainable solutions that accompany the main global trends of green construction.

The project has obtained four important international certifications, including BREEAM, which assesses the environmental impact of the project in aspects such as energy use, water, waste management and CO2 emissions. In addition, it has obtained the WELL Building Standard certifications, focused on occupant welfare, FSC, which ensures the use of materials from responsible sources, and LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), which validates energy efficiency and minimization of environmental impact.

According to Mateus Vitoria Oliveira, CEO of Private Construction, Private Log is a model of operational efficiency and environmental responsibility.“The project was developed to meet the needs of the logistics sector with a high standard of quality and performance, while incorporating sustainable solutions that minimize environmental impact and meet global criteria for efficiency”, explains Oliveira. The logistics sector is responsible for about 21% of global greenhouse gas emissions, according to UN data, and Brazil contributes with 6% of national emissions, totaling approximately 139 million tons of CO2 annually, according to the Professional and Technological Secretariat data).

The strategic location of Vitoria was a decisive factor for the success of the project. The state, which is connected to 70% of the Brazilian GDP within a radius of 1,200 km, provides excellent connectivity with the main logistics routes of the country, facilitating access to consumers and companies. For Oliveira, the choice for the area was given by its “high connectivity with the country's logistics routes, which facilitates access to the consumer market and provides operational advantages for companies using the warehouse in their logistics operations.”

Private Log is designed with a modern infrastructure aimed at reducing environmental impact.The project integrates energy efficiency solutions such as LED lighting systems and the use of solar energy, as well as practices to optimize water consumption and reduce carbon emissions.The implementation of these solutions reflects the growing demand for more responsible practices in the logistics sector, which seeks to meet the requirements of sustainability and energy efficiency.
