In addition to product deliveries, Amazon operates on multiple business fronts in Brazil, ranging from subscription services (Amazon Prime and Kindle Unlimited), technology (AWS), entertainment (Prime Video, Amazon Music and Amazon Publishing) to its own products (Alexa, Kindle, Echo and Fire TV).
The commitment of Prime Video to national culture is reflected in significant numbers: since 2019, 46 original local productions have been launched or are in production, filmed in more than 10 different states of the country. A striking example of this commitment to Brazilian cultural diversity is 'New Tongue’. The series, filmed at Cariri Paraibano, relies mostly on local talents, both in front and behind the cameras. The choice of professionals from Paraiba and other states of the Northeast reflects Prime Video's commitment to strengthen the regional audiovisual industry and create authentic narratives that genuinely represent the cultural richness of Brazil.
