Privacy Tools, the leading company in Brazil offering solutions for compliance with the General Data Protection Law (LGPD), celebrates a significant achievement by being recognized as the 13th best startup in Brazil and the 2nd place in the Legal Tech category of the 100 Open Startups 2024 Ranking. The award ceremony, held last Thursday (17th) in Rio de Janeiro, highlighted the top companies driving the open innovation sector in the country. This is the fourth consecutive year that Privacy Tools has been recognized in the ranking.
100 Open Startups, a business platform in open innovation created by the Centro de Open Innovation Brasil, revealed the results of the 9th edition of the ranking, which involved the participation of over 12,000 startups and 6,000 corporations between July 2023 and June 2024. During this period, more than 60,000 contracts were recorded between startups and large companies, generating over R$ 10 billion in new business.
"This recognition reinforces our commitment to leading and assisting companies in such an important topic as the LGPD. Throughout our work, Privacy Tools has been establishing itself as a reference by helping companies to be more assertive in the complex landscape of compliance and privacy," explains Aline Deparis, CEO of the company.
The 100 Open Startups Ranking has been published since 2016, with the objective of monitoring, measuring, and rewarding the practice of open innovation with startups.
