Brazilian platform democratizes access to online sales with intuitive virtual catalogs for SMEs

In 2024, Brazilian e-commerce earned more than R$ 200 billion, with growth above 10% compared to the previous year, according to data from the Brazilian Electronic Commerce Association (ABComm). This year, the prospect is that the sector will grow even more, between 10 and 15%, and receive three million new buyers. Faced with this optimistic and opportunity-filled scenario, the Vendizap, e-commerce platform for creating virtual catalogs, comes to market with the proposal to democratize access to online sales for small entrepreneurs. The tool offers the possibility of creating intuitive virtual catalogs that work as online stores, even for those who do not have technical knowledge or investment to develop a website of their own.

Second Andre Campos, CEO of Vendizap, the platform was developed to meet the needs of small business owners who already work with online sales through WhatsApp, but face limitations in terms of resources and production capacity. “Most of our customers already use WhatsApp to sell their products, but spend hours responding messages, sending photos and descriptions. With Vendizap, they can create a virtual catalog in minutes and send the link of the store or product to their customers, who can make the purchase directly through the catalog, streamlining the entire sales process”, explains Campos.

According to the Ministry of Economy, 99% of business in Brazil are Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MPMEs), being responsible for a relevant portion of the Brazilian GDP. However, according to Sebrae, 50% of these companies close in the first five years of existence. Considering the economic impact that such businesses have on the Brazilian market, the empowerment of small and medium entrepreneurs becomes not only necessary, but also advantageous. In order to strengthen this segment, Vendizap solutions prioritize the facilitation of access to e-commerce for such businesses.

With the e-commerce platform, small entrepreneurs can create personalized virtual catalogs in an easy and intuitive way, including photos, descriptions and prices of products. Merchants can offer online payment and delivery options and track sales and inventory control in one place, facilitating business management. In addition, Vendizap also offers the possibility of finalizing the sale by WhatsApp, aligning with the importance of this feature for the small entrepreneur, who uses it to maintain a good relationship with his customers.

“Micro, small and medium-sized companies are an irreplaceable part of our economy. Therefore, it is essential to empower them so that they have greater competitiveness potential and remain in the market. Vendizap is born from this perception and the understanding that tools at first considered informal, such as WhatsApp, can leverage business on the importance of the customer experience”, Campos adds. The e-commerce platform has monthly plans at affordable prices and does not charge fees on products, in addition to allowing the sale even without CNPJ, further facilitating marketing for small entrepreneurs.
