SETCERGS elects new board for the 2025-2026 term

The Association of Cargo Transport and Logistics Companies in Rio Grande do Sul (SETCERGS) held, this Thursday (28/11), the election for the new board that will lead the entity in the 2025-2026 biennium. The election took place in a hybrid format, allowing for both in-person voting at the union headquarters in Porto Alegre and online voting, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. In a single slate, the members elected the businessman Delmar Albarello, from Troca Logística, as the new president. The management will begin on January 1, 2025, with the festive inauguration on a date to be defined.

Delmar Albarello, a professional with a long career in the logistics sector and the current effective director of SETCERGS, will take on the leadership with the purpose of intensifying the dialogue with public and private entities and implementing the new Statute of the entity.

The focus will be on strengthening articulations with public and private entities and, above all, listening to our members. We will work intensely with the new Statute, ensuring that it is a tool to strengthen and modernize the sector. Albarello is a founding partner of Troca Logística, current effective director of SETCERGS, president of the Business Center of the Dry Port, and vice-president of the Porto Alegre Food Bank.
