Brazilian entrepreneurs support their homes and lead the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) to boost their small businesses GoDaddy Global Entrepreneurship Survey 2025 these women are redefining success with confidence and resilience, using technology to streamline operations and inspire a new era of business opportunities and innovation in a post-COVID world.
In Brazil, 57% of the small companies surveyed are owned by women, and 67% of them declared to have started their business in the last five years. These statistics highlight the significant presence of women in entrepreneurship in Brazil and highlight their resilience, especially considering the challenging economic climate caused by the COVID-19 pandemic five years ago.
Artificial Intelligence supports female entrepreneurship
Women entrepreneurs are not only running their own businesses, they are standing out with unshakable confidence.A staggering 98% of respondents expressed their belief in their capabilities, a testament to their well-grounded strength in the business area.In addition, nearly four in five (79%) agree that AI will help their small business compete with larger, more resourced companies in the coming year.
For example, Brazilian women are reporting that they save eight hours a week when using AI tools such as the GoDaddy Airo, an AI-based experience that simplifies website creation, logo design and digital marketing strategies for entrepreneurs.This time saved equates to one workday per week, time they spend to come up with creative ideas (60%), stay organized and manage day-to-day tasks (46%), and learn new skills or hone current ones (45%).
Businesswomen are resilient in the face of economic uncertainty
Despite mixed emotions towards the current Brazilian economy, with only 16% feeling very optimistic, Brazilian businesswomen remain resilient and 86% believe their business will grow in the next 3 to 5 years, higher than among men (80%).
And these are not just predictions: 50% of female entrepreneurs in Brazil are primarily responsible for the income of their families. These women are contributing to local economies, creating new jobs and supporting families.
Business leaders are adopting digital tools to grow
In addition to feeling fulfilled in creating their own source of income (63%) and supporting their families (47%), women entrepreneurs rejoice in being an inspiration to the people around them (32%).
