Opera announced on Tuesday (14) that Aria, the native AI of your browser, is now available on iOS without the need to login. This update has completed the implementation of accountless access on all major platforms of the company 3% and desktop versions of Android received this feature earlier this year.In addition, the iPhone browser continues with significant growth, with a month-by-month increase of 33% in the number of new users in the European Union and 31% globally.
Aria without an iOS account
With the removal of the login requirement, iOS users can now directly access Aria's advanced features on their iPhones without interruptions in navigation. Artificial intelligence offers a personalized experience, aligned to the needs of mobile users. Features such as instant page summary, link source identification and contextual query handling are fully optimized for devices of this system.
This ensures that people can rely on Aria to produce and create, whether on the street or indoors.In addition to its advanced AI capabilities, the browser assistant seamlessly integrates with the iOS interface, which allows for direct interactions through the software menu.
Aria offers tools such as Image Generation, to create visuals for projects or personal use, and Image Understanding, which analyzes uploaded images to provide insights or edits.
To access it on iOS without account, just update the Opera browser to the latest version. It is worth noting that Image Generation is limited to five per day for non-connected Internet users. Upon reaching this limit, a notification to enter an account appears on the screen. Logged in, the daily limit rises to 30 images and unlocks additional benefits, such as saving the conversation history.
Widgets for the home screen
This update to Opera for iOS also brings a new feature: customizable widgets for the home screen.The widgets allow you to create shortcuts directly on the iPhone home screen, which allows you to access the most important features with a single click.
To configure, simply press and hold the Opera icon on the home screen.You can create widgets that act as shortcuts to Aria or search, as well as options to open a new tab or enter Private Mode.
This action also displays a menu with other options. You can open a new tab or private tab, access the search or artificial intelligence tool, among others. These additions speed up daily browsing by offering quick, one-touch access to the features that matter most.
Constant growth on iOS
The updates have driven significant growth of Opera on iOS recently.Between September and November 2024, iPhone software recorded a 33% increase in the number of new users in the European Union and a global growth of 31%.
