A new survey by Koin, a fintech company specializing in the modality “Buy Now, Pay Later” (BNPL), reveals that (48.6%) of Brazilian consumers intend to purchase home appliances on Black Friday 2024.
Electronics appear in the second position among purchase intentions, with (41.2%), while travel also stands out, being the choice of (45.9%) of respondents, which demonstrates a significant interest in experiences beyond physical products.
The fashion and accessories sector represents (26,1%) of purchase intentions, followed by home products, with (21%), indicating a demand for both personal items and household items. Beauty and cosmetics correspond to (17,9%), while furniture and decoration add up (22,6%), reflecting a more moderate demand for these sectors.
Other segments such as food and beverages, children's products, health products and games and consoles add up together (24.5%) and show a more nuanced interest. Pet shop products record (5.1%) of intentions, and subscription and streaming services appear with (4.0%), signaling a specific demand for these categories.
The Koin survey heard more than 300 people in all regions of Brazil in the first week of November.
