Black Friday has firmly established itself in the Brazilian calendar, as the second most important date for commerce in the second half of the year, second only to Christmas. Eu Entrego projects a 30% growth in delivery volume during this year's period compared to 2023. According to research by technology company Wake, in partnership with Opinion Box, expectations for the 2024 shopping season are high, with 661,000 Brazilians planning to participate. Furthermore, the study also indicated that 32.51% of shoppers began monitoring product prices in late July, demonstrating proactive planning to take advantage of the deals.
Preparing for the shopping marathon
At Eu Entrego, preparations began several months in advance. Technology professionals monitor platform data daily and collaborate with the operations department to identify areas for improvement, ensuring more efficient operations during peak demand.
