SHEIN records record sales in temporary store in Porto Alegre

Last week, SHEIN, a global retailer of fashion, beauty and lifestyle, he opened his first temporary store in Rio Grande do Sul, in the state capital, Porto Alegre, from September 17 to 21. The pop-up store recorded the highest financial result in sales since the first temporary store in Brazil and the second largest audience in history, with 12,340 visitors in five days of operation. This was the 11th edition of pop-up brand already held in the country and the third edition of 2025.

Success among the gaucho public, the temporary SHEIN store, at the Bourbon Wallig Shopping Mall, had more than 9 thousand items sold and 72% of the marketed stock. Of the different models brought to the pop-up, 81% of them sold out. “Once again, we had absolute success and a warm welcome from the local public, in a new city where we took our pop-up store”, says Felipe Feistler, Country Manager at SHEIN in Brazil.

“The gauchos expressed their passion for SHEIN by exhausting the first batch of tickets in just 10 minutes and filling the store every day during the passage of the pop-up through the city.We are very pleased with the positive repercussion and sales results of the store, which proves the taste of the porto-Alegrenses for fashion and the economic robustness of the city for major EVENTS”.

The installation of the store during Farroupilha Week (annual celebration of Rio Grande do Sul that honors the Farroupilha Revolution) inspired a scenography that honored regional culture and pride, connecting the gaucho tradition to the fashionista DNA of SHEIN. The initiative reinforced the brand's strategy of approaching its consumers in various regions of Brazil, transporting the digital experience to the physical world.

The selection of pieces from the pop-up store was designed to translate the diversity that is part of the SHEIN universe. The goal was to offer options that accompany the different moments and lifestyles of the consumer: from the look for the office to productions to go out, beachwear, pajamas and casual pieces. The selection reflects the democratic DNA of SHEIN, uniting global trends with the versatility that the consumer seeks day to day.

In the store, customers had the opportunity to touch, taste and buy some of the main brands of SHEIN: Dazy, Musera, Missguided, MOTF, Ontre, SHEIN Bae Sumwon and Daynim. The highlight was the brand Cajuni, which had an exclusive space, with activations and inspirations with the theme of spring.

During the pop-up store, the partnership between SHEIN and Salon Line was also launched, with the exclusive launch of Praline Glow Hair Treatment Oil. The product combines the expertise of Salon Line in developing products designed for the Brazilian public with the DNA fashion and digital SHEIN. The oil brings a global trend of perfumery, inspired by the French praline, with sweet notes of almonds and walnuts, in addition to offering intensive hydration, deep nutrition, instant shine and silky touch. The sale of the product is carried out exclusively by SHEIN and those who have passed through the temporary store can know the oil, test it and participate in special brand activations.

And for those who could not visit the pop-up store in Porto Alegre, it is still possible to check out the looks on the online page of the store (link) and enjoy the same discounts of 10% off on all products and 20% off on purchases above R$399 using the SHEINPOA coupon.
