Microsoft Brazil announces the Innovation Hub, a physical space located in the company's office in Sao Paulo, aimed at presenting to the company's customers the innovative solutions developed by Microsoft and how to apply them in their business. The initiative is an evolution of the Microsoft Technology Center (MTC) and offers workshops, hackathons and practical demonstrations of the use of advanced artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, IoT, cognitive services, among others.
Currently, Microsoft has more than 40 hubs around the world to serve mainly companies with complex technology structure and operations. Customers from various sectors of the country, such as Finance, Telecommunications and Retail have already passed through the space and use technologies that have been developed to meet specific demands of their operations.
To lead this structure, Microsoft Brazil announces Marcondes Farias as leader of the Innovation Hub. With more than 15 years of company, Marcondes has worked in several leadership positions, such as project manager, business development director and director of digital transformation.
According to Marcondes, the Innovation Hub represents a window of exchange of experiences between companies and Microsoft.“O space goes beyond an innovation center, it is a place for customers, partners and employees to stay updated on strategic initiatives and understand the breadth of our” offerings, he explains.
The space is constantly undergoing remodeling to incorporate new technologies and provide immersive experiences to customers, such as the Innovation Factory and the use of AI in hackathons and architectural design sessions, for example. Cognitive service technologies such as speech processing are also presented in the hub.
The Innovation Hub aims to offer even more focus to the business demands of each client through a framework that allows demonstrating the practical results obtained from the use of these technologies.“We create a collaborative environment so that our partners can explore and implement emerging technologies that drive their business into the future”, says Marcondes.
