ClickBus plans to sell 1 million tickets for Carnival 2025 with special promotion Sao Paulo-Rio

ClickBus, the largest bus ticket sales app in Brazil, expects to surpass the 1 million tickets sold for Carnival 2025, a growth of 30% over the previous year, and launches special promotion for trips between Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.

With the approach of Carnival, the company announced special discounts for those who want to enjoy one of the largest carnival parties in the world in Rio de Janeiro. Passengers departing from Sao Paulo will be able to guarantee tickets with 15% discount on purchases made by the ClickBus application and 12% by the site. The promotion is valid for shipments until March 9, with the possibility of return extended until March 31.

“Our goal is to make bus travel increasingly accessible and practical for Brazilians.We know that during Carnival, ticket prices tend to rise due to high demand. Therefore, we want to offer travelers a more economical alternative and encourage the use of our application, where we guarantee flexibility, security and greater discount”, says Elbert Leonardo, Vice President Commercial ClickBus.

The company recorded 792 thousand tickets issued during the Carnival of 2024 and projects a significant increase for 2025. This growth reflects the trend of greater movement in Brazilian bus stations during the holidays and the consolidation of road transport as an affordable option for national trips.

Rio de Janeiro, the highlight of the promotion, is recognized worldwide for its carnival festivity, which attracts millions of revelers annually.
