A Zippi, a fintech that offers weekly working capital via PIX to microentrepreneurs, has just launched the videocast Life of a Freelancer, produced by Pina, a PR and Storytelling house. The first season consists of eight episodes released weekly on YouTube.
The project, which has an audio and video format, is conducted by Felipe Furlan with Co-hosts Isabella Duarte and Andrea Avedissian and is another initiative of Zippi to support Brazilian microentrepreneurs. Each episode features a guest who shares their stories, challenges faced, and valuable tips for those looking to start a business.
In the last three years, podcast production has experienced significant growth. According to Podcast Insights 2021, there are over two million programs available on the web. Another study released by BBC Global News in 2023 reveals that podcasts are an effective way to reach an audience that avoids ads, creating subconscious brand associations. Mentions of the brand in podcasts provide 16% higher engagement and a 12% higher memory encoding than surrounding content, as well as increasing brand awareness by 89%, brand consideration by 57%, favorability by 24%, and purchase intent by 14%.
“With Life of a Freelancer, we want to explore topics that are often not addressed in other formats and, with that, build an even closer relationship with our audience, with the aim of strengthening microentrepreneurship in Brazil,” comments Andrea, who is also the Brand Manager at Zippi.
