The coaching market in Brazil experiences an exponential growth in the number of professionals and events. According to the International Coach Federation (ICF), the largest global association of coaches, ten years ago, the increase of specialists in the country reached 300%. Last year, more than 500 events were held at the national level, including congresses, workshops, seminars and training sessions related to coaching in several Brazilian cities. And Expo D. Pedro, one of the largest multipurpose spaces in the interior of Sao Paulo, is on this route, receiving until this month 12 with this profile events are scheduled until the end of the year.
“The demand for this type of event in space has been high, and has grown mainly in the post-pandemic with an increasing search of participants for topics such as self-knowledge and personal development”, says Marceli Oliveira, superintendent of the Expo D. Pedro Complex. The executive notes that companies have also been investing in coaching to improve leadership skills and performance in the corporate environment.
The profile of coaching events in Brazil ranges from intimate meetings for small groups in personalized sessions, to large schedules. In these settings, the superintendent of Expo D. Pedro notes significant increases in areas such as life coaching and career coaching, and points out that “ organizers are increasingly seeking flexible spaces, which include personalized practices, such as rooms for mentoring, and larger areas to bring comfort to up to 2 thousand or even up to 5 thousand people simultaneously”.
In July, two major events in space related to the awakening of the mind and emotional intelligence take place, among them the training “Awake your best: Immersion of emotional intelligence and neuroscience” (27 and 28/07). “These programs bring together a very diverse audience”, highlights Marceli. “There are executives, entrepreneurs, professionals and even students with an interest in developing skills and achieving specific goals.”
The Complex
One of the largest multipurpose spaces for events in the interior of Sao Paulo, Expo D. Pedro, located in Campinas (SP), has a structure planned for medium and large corporate events, fairs, religious events, congresses, conferences, lectures, graduations and concerts.
The modular spaces in the Convention Center adapt to events of small, medium and large sizes, reaching a total area of 5,000 m². Already the Exhibition Center has 7 thousand meters2 of totally horizontal area. Both spaces are integrated horizontally, facilitating the logistics of organizing events of the most diverse.
