From September 17th to 19th, PL Connection 2024 will bring together top experts at Expo Center Norte in São Paulo to present the key strategies and trends shaping the private label market. Confirmed new speakers include Ana Laura Tambasco, Executive Director of Private Label for Carrefour and Sam's Club; Domenico Tremaroli Filho, Retail Vertical Director at Nielsen; and Ana Maria Diniz, co-founder of Polvo Lab.

Held concurrently with the Latam Retail Show, the region's largest B2B retail and consumer event. Participating brands include Carrefour, Grupo Pão de Açúcar, Cobasi, Petz, Lopes Supermercados, Droga Raia, Sam's Club, Tenda Atacado, and others.
Gabriela Morais, entrepreneur and creator of her own brand, "GAAB Wellness," and Renato Camargo, vice president of customer experience at Farmácias Pague Menos, have also confirmed their attendance. A total of approximately 40 speakers and 100 exhibitors are expected for the 2024 edition.
Activities and content
The program includes lectures, panel discussions, and networking, providing participants with a complete experience and diverse business opportunities. This edition also features new elements such as the PL Connection Arena, which will present general and technical content for the sector, as well as the launch of the 2024 Excellence in Private Label Award, a celebration recognizing outstanding private label products from 2023 and the first half of 2024. The Trends and Innovation Hub will highlight new and innovative products in a distinct and engaging space for the public.
On Tuesday (17th), Ana Laura Tambasco will deliver a presentation on "Winning Strategies in the Food Retail Sector: Insights from the Country's Largest Players". Following this, Renato Camargo will be present for a discussion on "Innovating Pharmacy Shelves: Success of Pharmacies with Exclusive Products". Also on the first day of the event, the CEO of Martins Atacadista will share his expertise to discuss "The Wholesale Universe: Private Labels within Market Evolutions".
Among the notable presentations on Wednesday (18th) are those by Nielsen's Retail Vertical Director, Domenico Tremaroli Filho, who will discuss "Nielsen: Global Trends and Insights in the Private Label Market," sharing exclusive data on the subject, and a discussion on "High Leadership's Perspective on Private Label" featuring advisors Hugo Bethlem, Marcelo Maia, Sandro Benelli, and Jorge Herzog. Finally, entrepreneur Gabriela Morais will bring her expertise to the sector with the topic "Influencing with Private Labels: Meta Interview with Gabriela Morais."
On Thursday (19th), the final day of the event, the Corporate Director of Paguemenos Supermarkets will present a discussion on "Differentiation in the Food Retail Sector: Own-Brand Strategies for Success."
