Palo Alto Networks unveils Cortex Cloud, the future of real-time cloud security

Palo Alto Networks, a global leader in cybersecurity, is stepping up its focus on cloud security with the introduction of Cutting Cloudthe new version of Prisma Cloud brings together releases of its best-in-class cloud detection and response (CDR) and protection of environment-native applications (CNAPP) solutions on the unified Cortex platform.The solution equips security teams with significant innovations, driven by AI and automation, that go beyond traditional cloud security approaches and stop attacks in real time.

Unit 42 reports reveal that 80% of safety displays occurred on attack surfaces in the cloud, a 66% increase in threats targeting environments of this natureas cloud adoption and AI usage grows, Cortex Cloud unifies data, automates workflows, and applies artificial intelligence-based insights to reduce risk, prevent threats, and stop attacks in real time.
