Applications open for free entrepreneurship courses at Qualifica SP

Individuals dreaming of starting or scaling their own business have the opportunity to receive free training until October 12th. The Secretariat of Economic Development (SDE), through the Undersecretariat for Entrepreneurship and Productivity, is offering two free, online courses for those who wish to become entrepreneurs or improve the management of small businesses: Developing an Entrepreneurial Attitude and Management of Small Businesses with Digital Inclusion. Interested parties must register via the website: www.qualificasp.sp.gov.br. 

Both programs have a duration of 80 hours, with classes held entirely remotely during the evening. In total, there are 100 available spots, 50 for each course. The training is aimed at individuals aged 25 and over, who wish to qualify in a new area or start a new career. Registrations are open until October 12th, and classes are scheduled to begin on October 27th.  

Daniele Aparecida Sampaio, 43 years old, is the owner of a pet shop in Mendonça, in the interior of São Paulo. She participated in the course on Management of Small Businesses with Digital Inclusion and shares how the training helped her in her entrepreneurial routine. “It contributed significantly to my professional growth. I learned about planning, finance, marketing, sales, people management, and the legal and tax aspects involved in running a business. I am already applying the knowledge in my daily routine to continuously improve my way of working and the management of my small business,” she says. 

What you will learn  

The course Developing an Entrepreneurial Mindset aims to qualify participants to identify market opportunities and develop products or services. See some of the topics covered: 

• Main entrepreneurial activity niches 
• How to manage your own business. Strategic vision of a business model 
• Wrong observations result in flawed ideas – Market research 
• Basics of tax education. Main taxes and mandatory charges 

The course Management of Small Businesses with Digital Inclusion intends to develop skills to operate more efficiently in the market, combining strategic management and technological inclusion. In addition to the topics from the Entrepreneurial Attitude course, it also includes:  

• Netiquette: digital etiquette 
• Digital dictionary 
• Computer and search tools 
• Digital operational tools 

How to enroll
