Desafix 3.0: Ciser and Sebrae Startups boost new business in acceleration program

As a result of the partnership between Ciser, the largest fastener manufacturer in Latin America; Hub #Colmeia, innovation center of the H. Carlos Schneider Group; and Sebrae Startups, a platform that supports innovative companies throughout Brazil, the startup acceleration program, Desafix 3.0 was closed in style, marking a five-month cycle of intense acceleration and transformation for early stage startups.

In this latest version, the program was designed to boost early-stage startups, offering a gamified and co-creative journey, with tailored knowledge trails. The initiative was supported by professionals and market experts, as well as mentoring offered by the Hub #Colmeia and Ciser teams. The 20 selected startups faced challenges and presented solutions aligned with five thematic lines: Smart Fixing, Industry 4.0, Digital Technology, ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) and Logistics.

During the program, intensive activities were carried out, defined from personalized diagnoses, to maximize the potential of each business. The highlight was the Final Pitch, an event that celebrated the impact of the program with the presentation of the solutions developed by the participating startups.The three startups that stood out with the best pitches, demonstrating the potential of the union between innovation and industry to transform the future, were: UBIVIS (1st place), RFID Brazil (2nd place) and Hence (3rd place).

Startups stood out for their ability to convert challenges into opportunities, demonstrating that collaboration and innovation are key to leverage business. For Alexandre Souza, Innovation Manager at Sebrae, “The closure of Desafix 3.0 represents much more than the end of a cycle: it is the achievement of a greater purpose, that of bringing startups and corporations together to drive open innovation in our ecosystem. Initiatives such as this are fundamental to connect different actors, creating an environment conducive to the exchange of ideas, co-creation and the development of solutions that respond to the real needs of the modern industry”.
