Amazon Brasil, in a strategic partnership with Sebrae, will host a free webinar on August 15 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM (BRT), aimed at promoting the digitalization and expansion of Brazilian SMEs. The event will provide knowledge on accessing the digital market and logistical solutions for companies looking to expand their operations through the Amazon marketplace.
This initiative coincides with a major expansion of the FBA – Amazon Logistics program, which aims to optimize delivery times and enhance logistics management for partner sellers. By the end of 2025, FBA will be available in Distribution Centers in Minas Gerais, Distrito Federal, Rio de Janeiro, Pernambuco, and Ceará. Additionally, starting in August of this year, the distribution center in Nova Santa Rita (RS), which has been operating the program since 2024, will also serve sellers from Santa Catarina and Paraná. With this expansion, partner sellers (Regular Regime or Simples Nacional) from these regions will be able to ship their products directly to these centers, delegating all logistics operations to Amazon.
“Our goal is to be the best partner for Brazilian entrepreneurs and SMEs. With the expansion of FBA and initiatives like the webinar with Sebrae, we are providing the necessary tools and knowledge for these entrepreneurs to digitize their businesses, reach new markets, and thrive on the Amazon marketplace. This is how Amazon invests in the success of small and medium-sized businesses, helping them reach more customers through logistics programs, technology, and free training,” says Virginia Pavin, Director of Amazon Brasil Marketplace.
Ivan Tonet, Deputy Manager of Market Access at Sebrae Nacional, notes that online sales by small businesses have grown by over 100% in the last three years, according to data from the Federal Revenue Service. “This shows how e-commerce has become an indispensable channel for the competitiveness of small businesses,” he reiterates. “We are talking about a market that jumped from R$ 5 billion in 2019 to R$ 67 billion in 2024. We need to stand by entrepreneurs and prepare them to best serve this new consumer behavior.”
During the webinar, participants will gain access to information about the benefits of selling on Amazon, an introduction to the marketplace, how to start selling, and details of the FBA – Amazon Logistics program. For new partner sellers, Amazon offers a benefits package worth up to R$ 80,000.00. Key advantages include reduced commissions in 17 categories, one-year fee waiver, R$ 5,000.00 in Amazon Ads credits, and dedicated account management (see terms and conditions). terms and conditions).
