A swisstech, initiative for disseminating Swiss innovation supported by Swissnex and other institutions in the Swiss innovation ecosystem, will be present at the Web Summit Rio, taking place between April 27 and 30. With their own booth (booth E423 in pavilion 4), swisstech will showcase various solutions developed by Swiss startups. Among cutting-edge technologies, a highlight is the software sector, represented by Veezoo, created by two Brazilians, offering an Artificial Intelligence application platform for business data analysis, and Nym Technologies, a developer of blockchain-based technologies focused on digital security and privacy.
Switzerland leads the ranking of the most innovative countries in the world, having been the champion for the 14th consecutive time in 2024, according to the Global Innovation Index developed by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). Swissnex in Brazil strengthens bilateral exchanges to connect entrepreneurs from both countries, promote new partnerships, and help introduce products and solutions into the Brazilian market.
One of the cases that will be presented at Web Summit Rio is that of Veezoo, which has developed a business intelligence platform based on generative artificial intelligence. The solution allows users without technical knowledge to analyze corporate data quickly and intuitively through a conversational interface. The solution utilizes the internal databases of the client company without the data leaving their servers. The company holds the SOC 2 Type I security certification and is finalizing the SOC 2 Type II certification, both globally recognized as a standard of excellence in data security and privacy.
Founded by two Brazilian brothers and a Swiss co-founder, Veezoo has thousands of active users and operates in countries like Switzerland, Germany, USA, Brazil, and India. In Brazil, Veezoo has ongoing business with Bayer, Caixa Consórcios, Santa Lolla, and Algar Telecom. The company shows great interest in the Brazilian market due to high demand for intuitive data analysis solutions. For Marcos Monteiro, CEO and co-founder of Veezoo, the idea is to democratize access to corporate data, allowing valuable insights that do not rely on high technical qualifications.

NYM Technologies is a startup focused on digital security and privacy. The company has built a solution based on the Cosmos blockchain, with a focus on privacy. The solution has three components: NYM Mixnet, a network that anonymizes users’ online activities by routing data packets through a series of mixnodes; NYM Token, a network utility token used to decentralize the mixnet by rewarding nodes for network usage; and NYM Credentials, which allow users to partially or fully reveal data as authentication required in applications. The main product, Nym VPN, was launched in May 2025 and already has over a thousand clients in just a few weeks of release. Currently, there are more than 500 nodes operating on the network.
Nym VPN is fundamentally different from most VPNs in the market because it can provide genuine anonymity to users. While most VPNs are centralized and vulnerable to network surveillance and data leaks, this one is built on a decentralized, zero-knowledge network and operated by independent nodes. Nym has no control over the servers, which are distributed globally and managed by a global community of privacy-focused activists.
