Semantix, leader in data and AI in Latin America, announces Marcelo Frontini as its new general director. The executive takes on the leadership and management of the company’s projects, which include artificial intelligence solutions and technology consulting. Leonardo Santos, the company’s founder, now takes on the role of chairman of the board of the company.

Founded in 2010 and of national origin, Semantix is a pioneer in AI solutions and consulting in Brazil. Currently, the company has offices in São Paulo, Miami, Mexico City, and Bogotá, directly and indirectly serving hundreds of companies.

With over 30 years of experience, Frontini was responsible for leading Brazil’s first large-scale artificial intelligence program, as well as creating and implementing important corporate innovation projects. Among them, the executive was involved in creating and implementing a corporate innovation program that connects and invests in startups. Working in strategic roles at Banco Sofisa, Bradesco, and Scopus Tecnologia, he is a mentor to startups and participates in advisory boards. Frontini has built strategic relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
