The Sebrae and Shopee announce a new free training platform, aimed at helping small entrepreneurs thrive in the digital market. The initiative is part of the partnership established at the end of 2024 between the two organizations and aims to strengthen Brazilian entrepreneurship through best practices for creating and scaling businesses in e-commerce.
With content developed by experts from Sebrae and Shopee, the distance education platform offers a comprehensive course divided into five modules that cover everything from basic knowledge about online sales to more advanced strategies, including pricing and negotiation with suppliers. Participants, without the need for prior knowledge about marketplaces, will learn how to create and increase their sales in e-commerce. To participate and access the content, simply register on the platform: sebrae.com.br/sites/PortalSebrae/parceriashopee
“We will train small businesses for a faster and more efficient entry into the world of online sales, ensuring greater sustainability and competitiveness over time. Marketplaces are a great showcase for small businesses, which must take advantage of digital tools to seek new markets,” says Bruno Quick, technical director of Sebrae Nacional.
“Digitalization is essential to expand the markets of small and medium-sized enterprises, driving their growth. We are committed to supporting Brazilian entrepreneurship and believe that training is essential for the development of our country. This is one of Shopee’s main priorities,” says Luciana Hachmann, Head of Government Relations at Shopee.
In addition to the free content, the platform offers additional benefits as entrepreneurs complete the courses, such as an exclusive WhatsApp community with assistance from partner consultants to answer questions and continue their training. In the future, two more content tracks will be launched focusing on business professionalization, performance data analysis, marketing strategies, and good customer service practices.
