Razer will launch AI tools on Amazon Web Services that will revolutionize game development

Razer, the world’s leading brand in lifestyle for gamers, has just announced the launch of its most innovative artificial intelligence game development tools on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform. The initiative marks a significant advancement for the company, which will bring its powerful solutions to the cloud, increasing scalability and making access easier for millions of game developers around the world.

With 3.32 billion gamers worldwide and a market projected to reach $424 billion in the next decade, the gaming industry is evolving at an unprecedented pace. Mobile and cloud games see their entry barriers decreasing, while AI transforms virtual worlds into smarter and more immersive experiences.

Designed to enhance the possibilities for game developers using AWS generative AI services – such as Amazon Bedrock – , the Razer Game Assistant and Razer QA Companion tools integrate with WYVRN, Razer’s next-generation gaming ecosystem designed specifically for game developers and based on artificial intelligence.

Developers empowered with AI-based automation

Originally presented as Project AVA at CES 2025, the Razer Game Assistant uses advanced AI to provide real-time tips, personalized guidance, post-match analysis, and hardware performance information. As it can be trained with specific data from each genre and game, and with direct gameplay integration, this technology enhances the player experience and marks the beginning of a new era in gaming, now even more empowered by artificial intelligence.

The Razer QA Companion is an AI-based quality control tool that transforms the way game testing is done. Like a smart assistant, it automatically detects and logs bugs, crashes, and performance issues, allowing human testers to focus on the game experience. The system can be easily integrated into QA team workflows and, among its benefits, increases process efficiency, shortens development cycles, and enhances the final game quality. In addition to being compatible with Unreal, Unity, and other custom C++ engines, it provides ready-made models tailored to different genres, speeding up testing without requiring manual programming.

To further enhance the QA Companion’s capabilities, Razer has partnered with Side, a global provider of services for the gaming industry, aiming to jointly develop advanced automated testing tools. The initiative combines Razer’s technology with Side’s globally recognized quality assurance expertise, with the goal of exploring new approaches to QA automation. The collaboration promises to increase testing efficiency and significantly reduce the time to game release, benefiting both developers and end users.

Large-Scale Innovation with AWS

After a standout presentation at the Game Developers Conference 2025, Razer expands access to its AI Game Development Tools through the secure and scalable AWS infrastructure. This expansion enables developers worldwide to streamline their processes, increase productivity, and accelerate the development of new games. The tools are currently in beta testing with AAA and independent studios, as part of Razer’s vision to drive the future of gaming with AI.

Both tools were developed with Amazon Bedrock, a fully managed Generative Artificial Intelligence (Gen AI) service that allows Razer to efficiently, economically, and securely integrate choice models, leveraging cloud scalability to meet developers’ current requirements. As a cloud-native solution, QA Companion accelerates testing cycles, enhances bug detection, and enables faster releases, all for higher quality deliveries in less time.

“With the launch of Razer’s AI Development Tools, we are very excited to strengthen our partnership with AWS,” said Quyen Quach, Razer’s Vice President of Software. “For two decades, Razer has been at the forefront of gaming innovation, and is now paving the way for the future with artificial intelligence. By combining our prototyping agility with AWS cloud scalability, we are enabling the next generation of technologies for game creation and development. These tools offer developers a powerful and accessible way to scale, reduce launch time, and enhance player experience.”

“The gaming industry has been pushing the boundaries of emerging technologies and transforming the way games are developed and played,” says Gunish Chawla, General Manager of the ASEAN Business Unit at Amazon Web Services. “Our collaboration with Razer shows how the development of AI tools for gameplay assistance and cloud-based QA testing can accelerate innovation in studios, maintaining quality and benefiting developers and players worldwide.”

Coming soon to the AWS marketplace

The Razer Game Assistant and QA Companion will soon be available on the AWS Marketplace, making it easier for developers to access generative AI tools that transform the game creation process. With a simplified acquisition process, the AWS marketplace platform will allow studios to seamlessly integrate these solutions into their production pipelines, speeding up innovation and product launches.
