On the last Tuesday, February 4th, to the sound of rapper Hungria, iFood celebrated the graduation of more than 5,000 participants from the most recent edition of the High School Diploma program. Since the initiative’s launch in 2022, about 11,000 delivery partners, owners, and employees of iFood partner stores and their families have completed their studies. During the event, the company announced the expansion of its commitment to education through iFood Conecta, a new platform that will offer technical and higher education courses starting at R$99.00, in partnership with Anhanguera Educacional.
According to an internal survey conducted in 2024, The survey also highlighted the positive impacts of the program: 45% of the graduates reported an increase in income, while 28% said they were enrolled in higher or technical courses after completing high school.
“The impact of education on our ecosystem is immense. Nearly 11,000 lives transformed, expanding perspectives on personal and professional growth. Our goal now is to offer these individuals the opportunity to advance even further, acquiring new knowledge and increasing their earning potential through professional qualification,” explains Luana Ozemela, CSO and Vice President of Impact and Sustainability at iFood.
Launched in 2022, the High School Diploma program has already graduated nearly 11,000 people – equivalent to 275 full classrooms – establishing itself as the largest youth and adult education project in the private sector.
The program provides free support for students to prepare for the National Exam for Certification of Youth and Adult Competencies (Encceja), conducted by the National Institute for Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (Inep), linked to the Ministry of Education (MEC). Meu Diploma offers study materials, tutoring, and practice tests, completely free and online, accessible via mobile.
The initiative reinforces iFood’s commitments to education. Currently, about 26% of the delivery drivers registered with iFood have not completed this stage of education. By 2025, the platform expands the program by offering 35,000 new scholarships. Interested parties can already register through the official site or get more information via WhatsApp, at the number (11) 4040-3140.
