Agro Ties Platform Connects Small Parana Producers to the Consumer Market and Projects Sustainable Growth

The Agro Ties platform, which connects small producers from 50 cities in Parana to the consumer market, has just completed two years of operation, standing out as an essential tool for the integration of cooperatives and the stimulus to sustainable growth of small rural producers. The initiative already envisions a millionaire revenue and significant improvements for the future.

Brazilian agribusiness, responsible for 21.1% of the national Gross Domestic Product (GDP), is strongly driven by family agriculture.It is estimated that 5% of this total originates from the properties of small rural entrepreneurs, who provide fresh vegetables, ground coffee and milk in bottles. Data from Family Agriculture and Cooperatives reinforce the crucial role of these small farmers in the national economy.

In Parana, the Agro Ties platform has been instrumental in connecting the field to the buyer market. The initiative, which unites producers and cooperatives, shortens distances between production and buyers, facilitating inventory management, sales contracts and delivery schedules.

“The project of the Agro Ties has achieved excellent results, with the participation of more than 50 cities and more than 700 producers who downloaded the application.In addition, more than 20 cooperatives are using the solutions offered by Agro Ties to improve the management of production inventory, sales contracts and the delivery schedule”, explains Leandro Scalabrin, CEO of the SWA group, a technology company based in Parana, specializing in software development.

For 2024, Agro Ties expects revenues of more than R$ 3 million, with the goal of reaching 200 cooperatives and 20 thousand more producers. “We are committed to improving our indicator panels to assist governments in the development of public policies aimed at family farming. With more accurate and comprehensive data, we will be able to provide relevant and up-to-date information, allowing governments to make more assertive and effective decisions”, details Scalabrin.

Agro Ties is an accessible platform via mobile that improves efficiency, transparency and communication between producers, cooperatives and technicians in agriculture. With resources to manage sales contracts, track delivery schedules and control payments, the platform allows you to identify products already marketed, enabling interested farmers to manifest to grow them.

“The clear and intuitive layout allows workers to clearly visualize their planned delivery dates and record each step of their production activities.The platform also notifies the cooperative about incidents that may affect the schedule of” deliveries, says Scalabrin.

Agricultural technicians, along with Agro Ties representatives, schedule visits, monitor production schedule and activities, generate individual visit reports, track contractual and customer allocations, and receive immediate notifications about any incidents in production.

“We seek to provide a guaranteed sale and empower small producers, inserting them in larger markets. We want to show that it is not necessary to be a giant producer to have security in the crop and achieve good” results, celebrates Scalabrin.

History of Entrepreneurship

Leandro Scalabrin, son of rural producers, saw in the difficult situation faced by his family an opportunity to undertake and boost the development of the region where he lived, in Royalty, in Parana. With determination and vision, he started a new business that brought prosperity to his family and contributed to local economic growth.

“Each crop brought the same challenges: will we sell?What will be the price?How to plan? Even if my parents were simple people, coming from the countryside, they always encouraged me and my brothers to study and learn. When I had the opportunity to go to the city in search of studies, these concerns always took my”, explains Scalabrin.

With the completed studies and performance in technology, Scalabrin sought ways to transform the problems of the field into solutions.“Today, we are sure that the platform brings together several small producers, makes them large, ensures the quality of the product and the certainty that the rural producer will market each vegetable foot”, he points out.
